A single management system for all content types \u2014 audio, video and interactive content on TV and LCD monitors, as well as on mobile devices (smartphones and tablets) throughout the network.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Objectives of implementing Digital Signage solutions in Foxtrot stores<\/h2>\n<p>As part of rebranding and format renewal, the country\u2019s largest retail chain by number of stores and sales volume was interested in implementing a flexible, multifunctional Digital Signage solution. This is the iDS\u2122 CMS (centralized content management system) on all devices from Innovative DMC.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-2563 size-large\" src=\"http:\/\/idmc.com.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/06\/iDS_all_devices-1024x946.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"591\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The key task of implementing such a solution is to consolidate content management across different playback devices into a single control center. This will enable IT specialists, administrators and content managers to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>monitor the operation of all devices in the network;<\/li>\n<li>simplify the content update process;<\/li>\n<li>use the built-in editor to develop content (templates);<\/li>\n<li>update and edit content in terms of playlist publications and special offers within local and nationwide advertising campaigns on ALL devices.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Another important objective was automating the management of audio content played across the Foxtrot network: background music, advertising messages and promotional offers, corporate and entertainment content.<\/p>\n<p>To achieve these goals, the iDS\u2122 solution from Innovative DMC was chosen, enabling management of any content, including interactive, on various playback devices:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>LCD panels and PC monitors;<\/li>\n<li>smartphones and tablets;<\/li>\n<li>video walls and LED panels.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/eE5jn3B_OQ4\" width=\"560\" height=\"314\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<h2>Implementation of the Digital Signage project in the Foxtrot network<\/h2>\n<p>Discussion of the centralized content management system implementation began with system testing. During the testing period, Innovative DMC provided all necessary software and hardware FREE OF CHARGE.<\/p>\n<p>The pilot project started at the end of 2017 in the Foxtrot store at Dream Town shopping center in Kyiv. Over several months employees from different departments tested the system and were satisfied with the results. They noted:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>convenient and simple management;<\/li>\n<li>powerful functionality and a flexible solution;<\/li>\n<li>reliable equipment;<\/li>\n<li>a high level of technical implementation.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/9tbnBIh2GyQ\" width=\"560\" height=\"314\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>The Foxtrot electronics and home appliance supermarket chain includes 146 stores across Ukraine. Broadcasting content \u201cthe old way\u201d (using flash drives) is ineffective for a network of this size. Thanks to Innovative DMC\u2019s Digital Signage solutions, system management will be conducted from the company\u2019s central office in Kyiv, while content will be displayed synchronously on devices across the entire network.<\/p>\n<h3>Innovative Digital Signage solutions aim to:<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>increase business efficiency;<\/li>\n<li>enable rapid information updates;<\/li>\n<li>reduce costs and increase customer loyalty;<\/li>\n<li>create the appropriate image;<\/li>\n<li>and most importantly \u2014 increase sales.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/AlEE82vflsg\" width=\"560\" height=\"314\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Centralized content management on TV panels is carried out using the compact and powerful <a href=\"http:\/\/idmc.com.ua\/technical-realization\">iDS\u2122 media player based on OS Android<\/a>.
