Implementation of a Digital Signage Solution in the Largest Network of Toy Stores BI «Budynok Igrashok»

At one such conference the leaders of BI «Budynok Igrashok» and Innovative DMC met. During discussions about the development prospects of the Digital Signage market in Ukraine and solutions for implementing projects of centralized management of diverse content on digital playback devices, our company’s experts demonstrated all the advantages of the iDS™ solution.

In one of our previous articles we detailed a successful case of implementing similar projects in the largest toy store chain in Spain, Toy Planet. Clearly, owners and managers are always looking for effective solutions that optimize costs while increasing company profitability — especially when it comes to a networked and rapidly growing business like the BI «Budynok Igrashok» chain of toy and children’s goods stores.

Following brief negotiations and a detailed discussion of the technical aspects of effective implementation, the authorized representatives of the companies decided to carry out the first joint project based in one of the stores remodeled in the RayON shopping center in Kyiv.

 

 

We proposed a conceptual approach to the project implementation, namely a centralized format for managing content across the BI «Budynok Igrashok» network:

  1. Centralized management of audio (advertising/information and background) content with the ability to flexibly create playlists (including different volume levels);
  2. Multi‑level control of video content playback on advertising monitors along counters and in the store window;
  3. Centralized management of content playback on interactive panels and touch monitors installed in designated store zones according to the updated brand book.

[/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=”3249″ img_size=”full”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]As a result of the rebranding, the company approved a number of innovative solutions to increase business efficiency, namely: with Innovative DMC’s Digital Signage solutions the store clearly demonstrates navigation across all departments; a bright design in corporate colors and styling was developed for the touch kiosks. It was important to determine the optimal size and height of the kiosks so they would be suitable for users of different ages.

Information monitors help customers feel comfortable and engaged in the store while saving time searching for the department they need. Installing external advertising screens and broadcasting dynamic content on them allows more effective demonstration of current information about new products and special offers, which leads to increased store profitability and overall network growth.

Company management decided to install an interactive terminal to assess customer service satisfaction. The innovation will provide a snapshot of current satisfaction levels and increase customer loyalty. It’s a maximally simple, unobtrusive and effective assessment method on an interactive monitor that anyone can use.
