Updated Format of the AVTOTRANS Filling Station Network, Using Digital Menus and Digital Signage Solutions

Another striking project in the Retail and fuel retail sector. The AVTOTRANS filling station network refreshed the concept of one of its stations, and the standard of using digital menus and cutting‑edge Digital Signage technologies from Innovative DMC became an integral part of the rebranding.

In a previous article we described the implementation of digital menus in one of the largest filling station networks, Royal Petrol (Kazakhstan).

On April 16, Innovative DMC celebrates a double milestone: the anniversary of our partnership with the AVTOTRANS filling station network and the opening of a flagship (the fifth this year) filling complex using Digital Signage based on the iDS Cloud platform for centralized management of audio, video and interactive content across digital playback devices such as LCD monitors, LED advertising outdoor & indoor screens, shelf talkers, as well as smartphones, tablets, video walls, media facades and any other devices.

A bit of history: here’s how the collaboration between Innovative DMC and the AVTOTRANS network began.

At the beginning of 2020, we received a request for a consultation and shortly afterward a presentation of the full advantages of the iDS Cloud hardware‑software suite.

For more than five years it has been Innovative DMC’s standard practice to provide a FREE “pilot project,” supplying the necessary hardware and software to fully test all functional capabilities of a Digital Signage solution.

AVTOTRANS was no exception: within a week of the initial request, IT specialists and marketers from the filling station network began full testing of the system. Within two weeks all project participants concluded that iDS Cloud fully met the requirements of the marketing department (the project customer) and the company’s IT team responsible for infrastructure stability.

During project discussions, our experts identified AVTOTRANS’s main priorities, goals and plans.

One of the key constraints for opening the first restyled station with digital menus was the budget for purchasing professional 24/7 panels. After difficult negotiations and lengthy discussions about the drawbacks of using regular consumer monitors for digital menus at the first site, the decision was made to optimize the budget and start the project using consumer TVs. Innovative DMC’s team managed to optimize the content‑production budget by reducing the number of clips while increasing their quality and WoW effect, combining content across three screens simultaneously.

The first upgraded AVTOTRANS filling station using digital menus under iDS Cloud management

During the first month after opening the new station with consumer TVs, AVTOTRANS management approved the standard use of professional LG SM5KE series panels. One of iDS Cloud’s key advantages is full compatibility with LG webOS professional panels.

In plain terms — you don’t need any third‑party hardware (media players, additional PCs, etc.).

The Innovative DMC license is installed directly on the panel and DOES NOT require complex configuration or installation. All functions are available in real time, and any update takes only a few clicks.

The high effectiveness of implementing digital menus at networked filling stations lies not only in using professional Digital Signage hardware and software but also in high‑quality content.

Attractive, vivid and provocative content tempts consumers to make impulse actions. High‑quality content is usually an integral part of successful deployment and subsequent ROI monetization for such solutions in networked HoReCa and Retail businesses.

Returning to the topic of the flagship Autotrans filling complex opening in Poltava: the station features a new style and store format with a bakery, a summer terrace, the first Eversys coffee super‑machine among Ukrainian gas stations, fresh bread and pastries, an expanded range of healthy products and digital menus.

You can see and try all of this at the Autotrans station located at: 15 Kovpaka St.

It’s a pleasure to be part of the bright changes and development of Ukrainian filling stations.

If your business is directly tied to a constant customer flow, it’s crucial to make interactions as comfortable, efficient and accessible as possible.

That is our focus when creating content for digital monitors and implementing them into your business processes.

Overall, it is very encouraging that more unique and high‑quality customer service points are appearing in our country, and that business owners are interested in developing in the direction of Digital Signage technologies.

We wish Autotrans successful scaling, full digital renewal and warm feedback from the flow of new customers to the network.
