Implementation of Digital Signage solutions in the Prime GROUP gas station network

Our acquaintance with Prime GROUP began several years ago at the annual “Ukraine LPG forum” traditionally organized by NefteRynok. At one of those forums, Innovative DMC CEO Andriy Kravchuk spoke about his expertise in effectively implementing and monetizing Digital Signage solutions for networked gas stations in Ukraine and the CIS. The information about the benefits of centralized content‑management systems (especially for large gas‑station networks in Ukraine) attracted the company’s top management. The active discussion and the actual implementation of the DSGO.pro software and hardware package, however, took place at the beginning of 2023.

Today, despite the active phase of the war in Ukraine, Prime GROUP continues to develop, expand its portfolio of services, and actively implements and scales the project to use digital menus in cafés at its gas stations. With strong support from the marketing department and on‑site station managers, the project is currently scaling up and connecting new digital menus across the Prime GROUP network.

The active scaling stage of implementing digital menus at gas stations coincided with the strategic task of updating the format and offering new/additional services and amenities at Prime GROUP stations.

The current project focuses on both upgrading the existing network and reconstructing new stations, where a digital menu will become a standard and integral part of the company’s successful business model. Use of digital menus and Digital Signage solutions across Ukraine’s gas‑station networks is currently at its peak. This is directly related to their high efficiency and the additional benefits they bring: new monetization streams and cost reduction opportunities through centralized updating of audio, video and/or interactive content on various playback devices.

Prime GROUP pays special attention to target audiences — long‑distance truck drivers, families who love to travel, and especially children. A menu was developed specifically for these audiences. More on that below.

The Prime gas‑station network was founded in 2015. Today the network includes more than 40 stations across 18 regions of Ukraine: Kyiv, Chernihiv, Sumy, Poltava, Kharkiv, Dnipro, Zaporizhzhia, Kherson, Mykolaiv, Odesa, Cherkasy, Vinnytsia, Khmelnytskyi, Zhytomyr, Ternopil, Rivne, Lviv and Volyn. At the time of publication, twenty‑seven Prime stations are already equipped with Innovative DMC’s software‑hardware solution. Four more premium stations plan to install digital menus shortly. These premium sites will feature a digital menu made up of three professional LG32SM5J LCD panels. As is customary for such premium installations, we will develop content with a WOW effect — synchronized and unified across all screens. The digital menu will broadcast advertising and informational content, including a “tasty menu” of homemade dishes from the Chef.

It is worth recalling that in a previous article we covered a similar Digital Signage and digital‑menu implementation project at the AVTOTRANS gas‑station network. Our company also has ten years of experience implementing Digital Signage hardware‑software solutions in the gas‑station, HoReCa and Retail segments, and the total number of completed projects has exceeded four digits.

As part of the new TIR Point station format, the company launched the “Prime Café” network, where every customer can enjoy quality homemade dishes at affordable prices. The café network was created largely in response to numerous requests from drivers. While most stations offer fast food, drivers traveling for long hours prefer a full hot lunch or dinner.

At Prime Café, the company offers a wide assortment — from salads and appetizers to soups and meat dishes. Orders are always prepared to order, ensuring meals are served hot and fresh. The menu was developed by the chef based on traditional Ukrainian dishes combined with refined culinary flavors.

As noted above, the scaling project for Digital Signage at Prime stations is ongoing, and we will be happy to keep you updated on all stages.
