Ternopil Cinema “Zlata” Reopened Refurbished — Now Featuring a Digital Menu from Innovative DMC

The restoration of the “Palats Kino” cinema in Ternopil has concluded, bringing not only external changes to the interior and services but also a new name.

Taking advantage of temporary visitor restrictions during quarantine, the old cinema underwent large‑scale and welcome renovations.

On July 2, 2020, the refurbished cinema reopened under the new name “Zlata.”

Changes touched all areas of the cinema, namely:

  • a new main screen in the auditorium;
  • comfortable seating for the most enjoyable film viewing;
  • a food‑court area fitted with a new digital, bright and dynamic menu where visitors can clearly see the range and choose their favorite treats.

What are the key differences and advantages the updated cinema format gained after implementing the Digital Signage solution?

In one of our previous articles we described in detail ALL the advantages of implementing and monetizing the iDS Cine solution based on the iDS Cloud platform for centralized content‑management projects in cinemas and/or multiplexes.

The primary benefit of installing digital menus in cinemas is appetizing, bright, attractive and sales‑driving content.

Digital menus placed in the cinema‑bar area improve customer interaction. Advertising screens positively influence customer decision‑making directly at the point of contact. Digital menu boards and digital‑signage advertising monitors in the cinema bar increase average check values and the bar’s overall profit.

As demonstrated by Innovative DMC’s implemented projects — installing a digital menu in a cinema increases mobility by 10–20%

Do not forget key advertisers who are always happy to increase cinema‑bar beverage turnover. In the case of the “Zlata” cinema, the relevant partner is Coca‑Cola.

It is worth noting that our company owns one of the richest libraries of high‑quality FHD content for cinema‑bar assortments:

  • various popcorn variations (classic white, yellow with bacon or cheese, caramel in different colors);
  • over 100 clips and backgrounds from global leaders in soft‑drink production, Pepsi and Coca‑Cola (fountain, can);
  • a wide selection of snacks (nachos, chips, sauces and add‑ons);
  • slushies and other cinema‑bar treats.

FOR THE “ZLATA” CINEMA, RIGHTS TO USE THE CONTENT WERE PROVIDED FREE OF CHARGE

A key feature was the implementation of the iDS Cine BAR system, which enables convenient and fast updates of content and prices for the cinema‑bar assortment.
These days prices change quite often, and repeatedly reworking photos or, even more so, video is extremely difficult and costly (both in money and time). Using ready‑made HTML templates, price updates take just a few seconds with a couple of key presses.

You can be anywhere in the world, and updates can be scheduled in advance according to tasks or promotional calendars.

How the updated cinema‑bar at “Zlata” looks now:

We are pleased to be part of changes in the cinema business, especially in such a challenging time for ALL cinemas.

In summary, Innovative DMC approaches centralized content‑management projects responsibly both for small cinemas and nationwide networks. Our clients’ feedback motivates us to make our work even higher quality and more accessible. As the classic said, “There are no limits to perfection.”
