Project for Implementing a Digital Menu and Remote Content Management Digital Signage System at “STOP PIZZA” Pizzeria, Lavina Mall, Kyiv

We’d like to tell you about another successfully completed Innovative DMC project.

Every successful entrepreneur — and in this case a restaurateur — seeks to minimize costs, automate processes and at the same time increase the profitability of their business. The “STOP PIZZA” project embodies all these criteria.

  1. Reducing costs by replacing the “morally outdated” illuminated menu and citylight format with a dynamic digital menu in the pizzeria. The rationale for this decision is that a bright, dynamic digital menu attracts consumer attention at least three times more effectively. Given that “STOP PIZZA” is located in a high‑traffic area right at the entrance/exit of the Auchan hypermarket, the strategy is based on fast service of a large number of customers (continuous pizza production on a “conveyor belt”).
  2. Automate the process of centralized content updates depending on the time of day, day of the week or special offers that STOP PIZZA regularly provides to its customers.
  3. Increase profitability through the use of the latest pizza oven — the Moretti Forni T75E. The performance of this oven is impressive.

So, at the beginning of summer, the first STOP PIZZA pizzeria opened in Kyiv inside Lavina Mall — more precisely in the zone where the Auchan hypermarket is located. The name speaks for itself: it’s hard to walk past the tempting aromas and the “delicious” bright, attractive monitors displaying alluring pizza.

It all started when, on the recommendation of a fellow restaurateur, the owner contacted us. He clearly understood the task and sought the right Digital Signage hardware‑software solution. The request was short and clear: “You are the experts, and I fully trust your many years of experience. Please implement the project turnkey and provide subsequent remote administration of content updates for the digital menu in the new venue.”

The owner’s confidence in choosing the right contractor was reinforced by the fact that Innovative DMC has implemented a number of projects for the Pizza Celentano chain since 2012. Pizza Celentano was once the most successful and largest fast‑food restaurant chain in Ukraine.

We were happy to begin preparing technical equipment, creating media content and launching the project.

We installed digital LCD monitors to display the menu assortment and showcase appetizing pizza. Promotional offers are also continuously broadcast on the monitors, which always work well to increase the average check and the pizzeria’s overall profitability.

High‑quality content is the driving force behind the popularization of digital‑menu implementations in the HoReCa segment (and beyond) worldwide. Day by day more cafes, restaurants, bars, pizzerias, patisseries and food courts are switching to digital menus — especially in the large network segment where timely updates of information/prices are a critical business element.

Digital Signage solutions are evolving rapidly, becoming an integral part of successful business.

From the very first days of the pizzeria’s operation, using Digital Signage technology within the store has “captured” the attention of visitors and passersby to the dynamic digital menu. There has been an increase in the average check, a growth in the number of transactions, a steady rise in newly engaged customers, tracked repeat visits/orders, and improved restaurant profitability.

P.S. We are looking forward to the opening of the new venue.
