We’d like to share another successfully completed project with you — the installation of an LCD video wall and the implementation of a centralized content‑management system in the healthcare sector.
In previous articles PART #1 and PART #2 we discussed in detail the capabilities and advantages of the iDS Cloud centralized content‑management system, which are available in the current version of our solution.
In December 2020 Chemonics International Inc., representing the interests of the USAID fund in Ukraine, invited us to participate in a tender to fund the implementation of Digital Signage at the central hospital in Berdyansk.
The proposal included supplying a complete hardware‑software Digital Signage solution and fabricating a specialized stand for a 2×2 LCD video wall with subsequent remote administration capabilities for ALL processes and the broadcasting of various content types (presentations, online staff training, emergency consultations, etc.).
Innovative DMC gladly accepted the invitation and prepared our project implementation concept. After passing international checks, certification and solution testing, we won the tender. An important condition from the fund was post‑payment under a letter of guarantee. Despite this, we agreed to proceed and began project implementation.
Specifically: we equipped the office with digital LCD monitors arranged as a 2×2 video wall and supplied hardware‑software functionality that fully met the Customer’s expectations (in accordance with the requirements and technical specification).
Our software for the medical center became an innovation in the medical field.
Hospital staff enthusiastically began exploring and testing all the capabilities of the digital technologies during their daily work.
The digital video wall enables broadcasting diverse information and managing
content remotely across all monitors.
In medicine it is especially important to have flexible and modern technical support.
This directly affects operational processes such as:
- communications among staff;
- patient statistics tracking;
- queue management for patient intake;
- important announcements;
- work schedules;
It’s encouraging that grant‑funded projects in healthcare, education and other social sectors are beginning to appear in Ukraine.
We are glad to participate directly in these initiatives and to share our expertise and ten years of practical experience in Digital Signage.
The successful implementation of grant projects in healthcare, as well as commercial projects — one of which we described in the article “Implementing Digital Signage Solutions at the GRAVIMED Clinic” , gives us hope for the success of healthcare reforms.
