In the “Sim23” concept (Clever Stores LLC) one can sense the format of the world’s largest convenience retail chain — 7‑Eleven, which we recently covered in a separate article.

It’s worth noting that window displays, merchandising and store design resemble modern European grocery retail formats. A dynamic digital menu, bright and appealing content, a range of genuinely useful offers combined with WOW effects like playing synchronized clips across multiple monitors — all this and more you’ll find in the new “Sim23” stores. The drive to use advanced solutions for automating centralized management of audio, video and interactive content across a large network led Clever Stores LLC to partner with Innovative DMC (IDMC LLC). We proposed a convenient and functional remote content‑management system and successfully implemented it in several stores as an informative digital menu. The network standard became a group of digital menus at the checkout area comprising five 43″ monitors. The new digital menu board fit harmoniously into the store design and received positive feedback from visitors. Besides improving product presentation and special offers, integrating the iDS Cloud system allows full automation of price updates — critically important for a customer‑oriented retail network with ambitions to scale. If technical integration between the accounting system and the Digital Signage solution is not available, IDMC LLC offers clients the use of HTML layouts for digital menus to enable fast/online price (information) updates directly from the content‑management system.
